Benefit for Stephanie Haynes

As many of you may know, there is a very special jazz singer from this area of L.A., named Stephanie Haynes. I have promoted her in the past as one of my favorite jazz singers on the planet...true enough! But Steph and I are dear friends as well, having met her in the late 70's, created different musical projects together, roomate'd together, I was her matron of honor at her wedding....we've laughed, cried, and sighed together!
About 9 years ago we had a benefit for Steph, because she had some health issues, and jazz singer Insurance! It was a great event, held at the Bakery, with yours truly hosting.
Steph has had to have some major surgery recently, and we jazz folks are rising to her aid again....We will gather and perform for you on Thursday, November 17th, 2005, at the Crowne Plaza Los Angeles Airport Hotel...Brasserie Lounge...5985 W. Century Blvd. 90045. It should be a stellar gathering of many great jazz people.......
