Judy Holliday

I like her.

Do you?

Is her album any good?

I heard her singing LET'S FALL IN LOVE in her film IT SHOULD HAPPEN TO YOU......and she was quite good.

She had a long term affair with Mulligan who had nothing but kind words for her wit, intelligence and humor, not to speak of her beauty.

About Judy

Her short life was a success and a tragedy. Her voice, I always thought, had a poignant quality about it that really got to me. And I've always been sad that it ended so soon and so tragically.

Apparently she had near genius IQ,although she was famous for playing dumb blondes. I remember particularly one scene in which she became so angry at a guy that she stammered, "You, .......you......you..........DENTIST

I think she made two records, one with Mulligan. And her movies are still worth looking at. Some memorable.

I saw her on stage in "Bells Are Ringing." She was magical.

Her films, "Born Yesterday," "Solid Gold Cadillac" and "Bells Are Ringing" always enchant me.

She was a great performer.
