An angelic voice

I work at UMVD and I just came across Sarah Brightmans new album, Love Changes Everything. I love this album because her voice is so relaxing and her music is very romantic. I can easily relate to her lyrics, which is very rare for me other artist. But I think when listening to Brightmans album everyone will feel the same. I heard album at a wedding i just attended. They played "only you" for the bride and groom! sooo wonderful! so check it out and share your thoughts. heres a link to her tracklist

That's gotta be awesome when you're lying back and spanking it.

So is this:

I'd recommend comparing the two; you may find discernable differences.

What did the Police mean by this?

Discuss.
I seem to recall Sting saying something about infancy, or being infantile, or the joy of being infantile, or infantile expressions of love, or some fucking thing, or quite possibly he was yanking everyone's chain.

Romantic? C'mon, Gary, it's about fucking. Surely at this late date you do not confuse romance with fucking.

I dont know who Lawdy_da is or what agenda he/she/it has but my God what dissimissive elistist wallies we are here.

Rather that embrace a person who wanted to add something abd be ppositive and maybe say 'not my cup of tea' but hey there are some great jazz vocals out there and give alternatives, or even say, talk about the Jazz liters like Peyroux, Jones etc.

The first post calls it a 'troll' (It may be I dont know). The second continues with the "I know more than you' line and then it degenerates into old men trying to be hip in a music that is now as archaic as Rudy Vallee and less as influencial than the Spice Girls. Heck Jazz is now an 'art', which has to be perpetuated by 'schools' rather than heart.

If LD is not a troll, that person would be well justified to think 'wankers' and 'self absorbed elistists and may probably be influenced to think about Jazz and Contemporary European Compositions (for some of that shit aint Jazz) as being 'high-browed'.

Man Jazz has gone from the gutter to the Gallery Wall and still no one (3% I think the figure quoted for jazz sales, less that the 10 or so percent who admit to excema) buys it.

But we are happy cause we a cool and dig it. We are cool because outside of our Jazz Cds (which we have one of the 5000 made (and three thousand sold) we also have our Dock Boggs,, Charlie Pattons, David Box Bear family sets. We love our Nick Drakes and we simply think the Sonics are boss. We have Slint rather than Nirvana and Pylon rather than REM.

Hmmmmmm

Hey Tip ...maybe we should just all take the 12 steps ..." I am Heny and I am a completely self absorbed elistist wanker...and its been 6 weeks since my last confession." No wait, damn Im channelling St Joes circa 1970 gain. I hate it when that happens.

I guess i am just getting curmudgeonly that if someobe mentions a recording that sells more tha 3000 copies and half thouse by mail order and a third of the remaindser a gigs someone here gets all 'superior'. Its not like like this isnt a knowledgable crowd. It is though sometimes it is less than charitable.

I am lucky because I KNOW i have superior taste to everyone else just knowing that makes me feel i dont HAVE to prove it ;0)

Tip and some people say those voices inside are bad you know, but at least we aint lonely!! (though I do wish one of mine would stop saying "what you talking about Willis? The others are complaining about him and it makes for a less than harmonious set of delusions!)
