I loved those 70's era Chargers. And the Barracuda too.
This looks like a hell of a car, except that it's American.

No, I believe those are from Motor Trends first test. But having gotten on it a couple of times now, I'd say those numbers are fairly correct. The 0-60 in 5.3 may be a small stretch, but I would say it's definitely under 6. Probably more along the lines of 5.7-5.9.
Yes, fuel injected.
Never had a HEMI before, but I totally share your love of them now!!

Much of it is Mercedes technology, does that help?
I have had a strong aversion to American cars over the last 10-15 years. But the Dodge/Chrysler group are truly building some incredible machinery these days. That merger with Mercedes Benz has completely turned them around.
Oh, and it has the best stereo to ever come stock that I've ever heard. Destroys everything else on the market in it's price ranger with the exception of the Bose unit in the Mustangs.
