She is getting closer to the 21st century

Tonight I am hearing the last 2 hours of my radio show. KSJS has gotten a new air check deck that records onto flash cards. I had my flash card with me and I tried to record the first 2 hours of my show, but there was no signal going to the deck. I had the general manager look at it and when he turned on the old air check deck (in which it is a cassette deck), there was a signal going into the new air check deck.

I have figured out how to listen to my air checks on my computer. Hopefully I will be able to put my shows on line so that others can time shift my show. But that will take time for me and others to figure out. For now, I need to figure out how to record my show from the flash card onto a CD.

I bought two more flash cards so that I can rotate the cards. Each 512MB can hold up to seven hours of audio.

I'm a happy camper for now
