I am posting this just to make sure people who are looking for venues are aware of this .. and not for the good reasons.
Link is provided and I have edited to the specific information.

Three acts hit a sad note for readers
Readers are looking for good music, not belly-button-gazing, so I usually don't talk about criticism in this column. I also prefer to write about artists I like, rather than those I don't.
However, three problematic shows this week (well, two shows and one cancellation) cry out for some discussion.
...
Finally, a quick word about the suddenly canceled Regina Carter Saturday. This is the sixth concert, of 13, to be nixed on the badly planned, badly promoted Initials jazz series at Benaroya Hall. The only shows left standing are Rene Marie (July 11) and Mary Stallings (Oct. 4).
Critics often are slammed for not supporting the local scene. But at what point do you pull the plug on a bad actor?
Initials producer George Williams has not only been losing money on his poorly attended shows, he hasn't been paying his bills. According to director Pat Wright, he still owes the Total Experience Gospel Choir $750 for its January performance with Take 6.
In a rambling e-mail response to The Seattle Times, Williams blamed his troubles on a former employee, but admitted that his company, GW Design, had "flipped the bills."
Normally, the public doesn't need or want to hear about any of this. In this case, you should know.
