Stevie redux
I don't know where in h**l my Stevie Wonder thread went, but oh well.
I listened to A Time to Love again this morning. You know how it is: you get all excited about a disc and you play it over and over. Then inevitably you lay it aside to listen to other stuff.
The test is in what happens when you pick it back up again. What happened was this: I love this disc even more.
Again, the third song is the treasure of the disc to me personally. I sat down and played along with it to figure it out. It is an absolutely gorgeous chord progression. Really satisfying to play.
I was just planning to listen to a couple of cuts, but I can't turn it off.
I stand by my initial positive reaction.
