A dear friend is looking for a recording that she heard years ago by Etta James where the word 'Precious' is repeated over and over. My Googling has been fruitless. Does anyone recognise this?

It's probably "Precious, Precious" unless the name of the song is "Precious Baby of Mine." It could be either.

I'm wondering if my friend has the wrong artist. AMG has no listing of any 'precious' songs for Etta James. Is there a definitive version of Precious Precious & Precious Baby Of Mine?

Don't know the latter song, but Jackie Moore's "Precious, Precious" is the one to own.
