EtnaFest is a State-financed music season that takes place in Sicily (Italy), in the city of Catania, every year. It is promoted by the Government of the Province of Catania and in the past has hosted artists as such as Woody Herman Orchestra, Brad Mehldau Trio, Gilberto Gil, Hanna Schygulla, João Bosco, Herbie Hancock, Wayne Shorter, Dave Holland, Brian Blade, Anouar Brahem, Russell Malone, Benny Green, Janis Siegel, Juliette Gréco, Mulgrew Miller, Steve Nelson, Charles Lloyd, Geri Allen, Jackson Browne, Elvis Costello, David Byrne, Patti Smith, Manhattan Transfer, Antony and the Johnsons, Steve Martland, Philip Glass, Bobby McFerrin, Ahmed Abdullah, Eric Alexander, Ronnie Mathews, Jimmy Cobb, David Krakauer, Delta Saxophone Quartet, Steve Reich Musicians.
