Can we stick to musical items, folks?
As I wrote in the Feedback section, I'd hate to see someone selling a set of tires in this forum. IMO, what belongs here are *musical* items for sale or trade (or sought)--albums, musical instruments, maybe gigs, etc.
I don't know whether Lois agrees, though from the legend after the forum title, she seems to. I'll stop short of posting a poll, but do y'all agree?

How about that old Hubcaphone I've had in the garage since the 1980's...it's an instrument made of car parts. I guess I could sell half of it as an instrument and the other half to the junk yard?!

I think having a forum for trading music is so BNBBS.
From the name of the forum I thought this is more of an all prupose thingy. You know, people who are looking for a babysitter so they can go out to hear a jazz show, Personals etc, etc. Of course I will go along with whatever Lois deems fit.

I honestly don't care. As Uli rightly suggested, it's Lois' site, she can restrict postings (or not) as she sees fit. If there are topics/posts here which don't interest me, I'm perfectly capable of not reading them.

1976 Les Paul Custom. Blonde body. Nicked here and there. My working axe for the last 16 years. If I can get my act together, I'll post a photo. Make me an offer.

Dr Dave, start your own thread for it in this forum, or fewer people will see your ad.

Love for sale,
Appetising young love for sale.
Love that's fresh and still unspoiled,
Love that's only slightly soiled,
Love for sale.
Who will buy?
Who would like to sample my supply?
Who's prepared to pay the price,
For a trip to paradise?
Love for sale
Let the poets pipe of love
in their childish way,
I know every type of love
Better far than they.
If you want the thrill of love,
I've been through the mill of love;
Old love, new love
Every love but true love
Love for sale.

Appetising young love for sale.
If you want to buy my wares.
Follow me and climb the stairs
Love for sale.
Love for sale.

No, it's not for sale. Just commenting on Pete's post.

Dr. Dave, didn't you *swear* you would never sell your Les Paul??
You'll only regret it. Sell your body instead.

You're right, Tom. I did swear I wouldn't sell it. What has happened to my self-regard? My sense of honor? I won't sell it! I'll sell my body instead:
Love for sale,
Jaded old love for sale.
Love that's stale and nearly spoiled,
Love that's truly, darkly soiled,
Love for sale.
Who will buy?
Who would like to sample my supply?
Who's prepared to pay the price,
Watch a geezer roll the dice?
Love for sale
