"O" Artists
I can't think of any O's I'm really crazy about. Not the biggest O'Keeffe fan, really. Oldenburg is always good for a chuckle though

When I stayed at Brian's house, I saw a little of his work. I slept in his den, and on his desk he had a stone and drawing of a stone. The drawing looked like a stone.

any chance you can redraw that from memory for us, Sergio? Brian's fans need at least a small scrap to temporarily placate them...

Well, there was a wooden background, not unlike the surface of his desk. On it, there was a roundish large pebble stone, maybe grey or grey-blue. It was in the middle. It looked very lifelike. It almost tricked my depth perception.

Sergio's description is at least as good as the work in question.

OOOHHH! When Brian told me he was painting I thought he was talking about his house. No wonder he gave me a funny look when I, in turn, told him I was installing gutters on my house.................

That's funny Jimmy, because when you told Brian about the gutters, he thought you were doing some sort of installation art.

see, I think there's a real opportunity here for you. much like Todd Zeile recently became the leading home-run hitter alltime whose last name began with "Z", you can be the top alltime "O" artist.

Yeah, but I'd feel bad for the Gus Zernials of the art world.

Brian just doesn't want us to change the way we see or we may not be able to read his reviews anymore.

More Oceanic art. "This ceremonial beaded apron comes from the Geelvink Bay area of West Papua. . . . These pieces are made by women and worn by both men and women. The glass trade beads are of Dutch origin, centuries old and were brought to the area by Asian traders looking for exotic bird feathers and other local trade items."
