No explanation given. None necessary, it appears. He's a longtime critic of the Bush administration, and he's been put on the "no-fly" list:

Has this actually been confirmed? Not that the Daily Kos isn't a highly reputable website run by great thinkers, but has this been confirmed by anybody other than them and the fine folks at Mr. Moore's website?

Guys. I just clicked on the link that tristano's ghost posted and my computer went to black screen, then flashed like a pinball machine and shut down. I had to re-boot. It's not my computer, which is brand new. WOW!!
Am I being my usual paranoid self, or what? Anybody else have this happen to them?
I laughed when I read Dr Dave's welcome to the site to the government "flies on the wall", but.............

As you can see from the link that tristano's ghost posted, it's the Bush's Brain author's claim at the Huffington Post (not Michael Moore's website or James Moore's website). And if you read the comments at the Daily Kos, you'll see that some of the Kossacks are skeptical (well, at least a couple; I didn't read all the comments).

If it's true that you have no right to find out why your name appears on the no-fly list, doesn't that violate the commerce clause, and our inherent right to conduct interstate travel? I mean, if racial discrimination is prohibited as a constraint against commerce, how can secret profiling for the purpose of excluding one from flying for travel be any different?

The chances of this story being true aren't very high. Much like the integrity of TG and his fellow Kossacks(don't know if Rita made that one up, but it works for me).

Secondly, if it indeed turns out to be true, then there really is a very serious problem there. And it has nothing to do with ignorance of our own safety, or giving two shits about some looney Bush basher.

What it really comes down to is a wrong being done to an American citizen. To look at it superficially, it's easy to assume that if it is true, the government is simply screwing him over for being such a noisy critic.

Are you ok with that? I would hope not.

You have yet to cite anything to disprove this author's claim. I use DK as one of several sites that point to news stories that don't always make the mainstream media, which tilts right these days if it tilts any way at all.
