Do You Know What It Means To Miss New Orleans?

Sometimes a picture begs to be taken. Such was the case regarding the above photo which I took during my recent return to New Orleans.

In my mind's eye, this picture represents, the past, the current, and unfortunately some say the future. A boat, once afloat, tied to a sign-post, on a main avenue near downtown New Orleans going no-where fast. Such is life these days in the not-so BIG EASY!

Hit it Sachmo!

Things look pretty bad these days. I don't think we (the USA) really have the commitment to rebuild the city. In some ways N.O. is off the radar screen.
