And the ancient WB show, "RIVERBOAT".
Very talented actor.

Interesting! He was in "The Natural", but was unbilled due to some contractual hassles.

WOw...Don Knotts and Darren McGavin in 24 hours.

Darren McGavin was never a big star, which probably accounts for his long career. LOVE A Christmas Story. We had the video and I was pleased that it became so popular. It was the film the kids watched, every Christmas, before it ran all day on network TV. They knew all the lines!! A classic, to be sure.

RIP Darren McGavin.

Ah yes. The Nighstalker. That show scared the living shit out of me when I was a youngin.

Didn't he also make the obligatory appearance on The Love Boat?

Rest easy, my friend.

Kolchak! One of my favorite shows as a kid. Scared me to death. Even the clips they'd show in the opening credits spooked me. He's alone in his office at night and the fan stops for no apparent reason, etc.

There was one with a native American who went around saying something spooky like, "Diablero!" Fucked me up good.
