Hopeless Pictures and Greg The Bunny

Quote:
Why are all the shows worth watching on pay channels these days?
Speaking of which, has anyone seen Hopeless Pictures and Greg The Bunny back-to-back on IFC (I believe Greg The Bunny had a short run on a network), Fridays at 7pm PST I believe. The only downside is that they are both only 15 minutes long. Too damn short!

Hopeless Pictures is like an animated Curb Your Enthusiasm. A man and his utterly hopeless studio.

Greg The Bunny parodies movies using stuffed animals. Their take on The Godfather was hi-larious.

I saw a few of those. I really wanted to like them, but neither one worked for me somehow.

I tried, but they are completely lacking in wit and humor.

Maybe Hopeless would work with the Hollyweird types.

"Hollyweird". Good pun Clint. Now THAT is some quality wit and humor. Now I know what I have been missing.

My main man Salvador Dali Lama turned me onto Aqua Teen Hunger Force. That show kicks ass.

And Mr. Pootz and I religiously tune in to the Disney Channel on the weekend to The Emperor's New School.

Cut the Angel's fan some slack, he's having trouble just figuring out if he and his team is in Tustin or Rancho Cucamonga or Marina Del Rey.

I am continually impressed by the quality of programming and graphic design of those shows during Adult Swim, which I happen upon every now and then. That particular programming block is really pretty creative and interesting. But I can only watch so many cartoons before I start to go bonkers.

IFC ran a marathon of Greg The Bunny on Thanksgiving, so I watched something like 8 or 9 of them in a row. I laughed at the first few, but after a while the stale piss and cigarettes humor started to wear thin.

The character with the helmut had a very funny episode where he checks into a flea bag Broadway hotel (a real one infamous for....stale piss and cigarettes).
