City of Derry Jazz & Big Band Fest
Top stars lined up for Jazz and Big Band Festival

Over 130 events and acts, including Jools Holland, Curtis Stigers, The Frames and Jack L, were today confirmed for the City of Derry Jazz and Big Band Festival.
A string of top local and international performers will be blowing their own trumpets on stages across Londonderry during the festival, which will run from April 27-30.
The full programme for the fifth annual festival has now been confirmed with Jools Holland and his Rhythm and Blues Orchestra, international star Curtis Stigers, and Mercury Prize award winner Soweto Kinch, all putting in an appearance.
Legends of jazz, Kenny Ball and Acker Bilk, The Frames, Jacqui Dankworth, Jack L, Andrew Weatherall, 20:20 Soundsystem, Agent K and Don Baker will also be featuring.
Rock legend Henry McCullough and jazz guitarist Tommy Halferty will be reappearing at the event.
Launching the programme, Mayor of Derry Lynn Fleming said: "The city is recognised internationally for its ability to host a range of top class events.
"Each year the City of Derry Jazz and Big Band Festival attracts new people to the city whilst it has created a loyal following of festival-goers that return year on year to experience the festival Bank Holiday weekend atmosphere."
