Munhall library sets jazz offerings

Three films and a concert will be featured at the Carnegie Library of Homestead in Munhall to celebrate Jazz Appreciation Month.
The schedule:
Friday:"A Great Day in Harlem," a Jean Bach film.
April 7: "Instrumentals of Count Basie, Dizzy Gillespie and John Coltrane," a Ralph Gleason film.
April 21: "Big Bands of Thad Jones-Mel Lewis and Woody Herman," a Gleason film.
April 28: Concert by the Dave Pellow Band.
The library will be closed April 14 for Good Friday.
All events start 6 p.m. and are free except for the concert for which there is a $5 admission.
