Modern jazz vibraphonist Matthias Lupri returns with his 5th project
"Metalix" and a forward thinking group playing all original compositions.
With ace alto and tenor NYC saxophonists Myron Walden(Brian Blade, Freddie Huddard) and grammy nominated soloist Donny McCaslin(Dave Douglas,Maria Schneider),"Metalix" was recorded after a summer jazz festival tour cross Canada(including the Montreal Jazz festival this time around) Europe's North Sea Jazz festival, and US dates. With Nate Radley(g), Thomson Kneeland (b) and Jordan Perlson(dr) once again from the groups previous project "Transition Sonic" with Cuong Vu and Mark Turner.
