Damn. I wish I could make that Saturday with Haino and Sunno))) but it just isn't in the cards this year. Dammit. And Parkins earlier, too. Dammit.
I had *so* much fun last time, hearing the Eskelin-Parkins-Black trio with Cem, Gordon, and Vince, meeting Michael Rosenstein finally after having read his reviews for years, and then staying up way too late in the hotel bar with Parkins, Ellery, and the JC crew. What a great night. It was Andrea Parkins birthday, actually, come to think of it. Great fun at breakfast the next day, too.
