Atlanta Jazz Festival

I was wondering if Jazz Corner members had any thoughts on Atlanta's Memorial Day weekend line-up.

Saturday: Rene Marie, Benny Golson Quartet, The United Trombone Summitt- Curtis Fuller, Delfeayo Marsalis, Steve Turre & Robin Eubanks, Carmen Lundy & The New Songbook Artists, McCoy Tyner Trio

Sunday: Grady Tate Quartet, Donald Byrd, Moncref Genoud, Kendrick Oliver & The New Life Jazz Orchestra featuring Cyrus Chestnut and Kevin Mahagony, Barry Harris Trio plus special guest Charles McPherson

Monday: Robert Glasper Trio, Pyeng Threadgill Octet, Geri Allen Trio featuring Jimmy Cobb, Yellowjackets.

-McCoy Tyner will always be the piano player for me. A first chance for me to see live Jimmy Cobb, Benny Golson, Barry Harris, Carmen Lundy. And wow, that's a lot of trombone playing Saturday, isn't it?

Looking forward to Robert Glasper and Geri Allen. I've read up on her records, but not sure what to expect from Pyeng Threadgill.
