Question Brotzmann / Perkins - The Ink is Gone

Has anyone heard this new release on Brotzmann's Bro records? Eremite is distributing it on vinyl only (I believe.) It was recorded March 31 and April 1, 2002 in Boston and Philadelphia.

I'm tempted to pick it but would like to hear a few opinions before dropping the $25 (and putting off picking up two cds for the same price.)

thanks!

Given that it's strictly limited to 999 copies -- at least, until some label comes along and issues it on DVD, flash stick or subcutaneous-midi-implant 20 years from now -- it might be a good idea to act quickly. I'm ambivalent about vinyl (easy there, Shrugs -- I just don't own particularly high-end equipment), but this does seem to be a potentially compelling pairing. Thanks for the pointer.

I would imagine its Zeena Perkins.

in which case I'll pick this plate up.

Vinyl makes me feel like a good person.

It's Walter Perkins. Zeena's last name is Parkins.

I am not sure. I don't really dig all Brotz. It's just always great to hear him with someone other than Hamid since they are already on so much together.
Here's looking to more of these Bro lp's!!!!

Oh, man, if this sounds anything like Brotz's duet with Robert Barry I saw (which I beg Okka to release!), then I gots to hear it.
