Awesome album, my man. A true doom classic from Peaceville. The opening version of "Sear Me", and "Your River", are my favorite tracks. I'll definitely revisit it when I get home tonight.

Jaka, I heard half an hour in the car today. Promising! I have actually heard some Jacques Higelin on French TV, part of a concert, interview and remember what he looks like and have an impression of his appearance and persona.

Jon Eberson is in fact the male figure you see on my present avatar.
He plays the guitar, teaches at the Conservatory of Music in Oslo and is and has been an essensial musician on the local scene through decades.

and his guitar

I'll work on that asap.

Zeena Parkins "Necklace"
Ennio Morricone "L'assoluto Naturale"
Alejandro Jodorowsky: "El Topo"

He's a great figure among french musicians. Somewhat a little forgotten lately, and it's a shame.
I'm glad you like it. Spent so much time with it in the past...
I don't listen to it that much now, surely because I think I know every single note and detail and speech in it.
I played it at work a few weeks ago, and a colleague and I ended up singing, tapping, "instrumenting", etc. the whole thing!
