Laszlo Gardony - NATURAL INSTINCT (Sunnyside, 2006)

Wonderful new album by Laszlo's trio with John Lockwood and Yoron Israel.
In additional to Gardony's fine originals (melodies one long remembers), he interprets Horace Silver's "Peace" and the Romberg/Hammerstein "Softly, As In A Morning Sunrise." There is a spellbinding rendition of "Motherless Child" as well.

His previous album, EVER BEFORE EVER AFTER, is also worth seeking out.

Hi David;

I had received a copy of this, but hadn't had a chance to listen to it until today, inspired by your post to get around to opening it up.

Although I've listening to it while at my office on my PC interrupted by chores, my impressions of it are quite positive!
