Question Barcelona - Restaurants, places to see, things to do

We're leaving on Friday for a five-day stay in Barcelona. We've got our guides and friends (though first-timers) who just got back from the city but I'd still very much like to hear your recommendations. Hande will especially appreciate food advice - where to eat paella and sea food, but also anything else you thought was special. Thanks.

Joan Miro museum up on the hill. A must. Also the Gaudi fountain

in Buell Park.

Also, I did a lot of clubbing when I was there. Fun time dancing.

Second the proposal to see the Miro museum.

I ate pretty well a couple of years back and noted three restuarants that I would retun to given the chance. One was Siete Puertas with a dish of arros negre that stood out. The meal was very filling, the overall feel something like an upmarket brasserie and Sunday lunchtime the perfect time. The second I think was called Elche, low key, relaxed and very good. But the place that blew my socks off was Can Ramonet, which with a dish of razor shells briefly transported me to a different dimension. We had to wait a long time to be seated after stumbling across it, but it was well worth the wait.

Enjoy.

Thanks everyone. We'll certainly visit the Miro museum at least once and put aside enough time to enjoy the architecture a little more than just by walking past it.

Douglas - Hande's excited about those restaurants, and so am I. We hope to incorporate a meal at each into our schedule.

I've lost my camera, it seems, so there goes that hobby.
