14/14. Too easy. One thing this exercise taught me is that Adolph Hitler was a better writer than Ann Coulter is.

Actually they are/were both shit writers, Hitler just a little less shit than Coulter. Coulter must be really bad because Mein Kampf (first edition) is awkward, repetitive and chock full of grammatical errors.

Agreed, but Coulter's phrases are, amazingly, even more hackneyed than Hitler's, and that's hard to do.

Nothing surprising here. She wears her fascism on her sleeve and in her sneer.

Grammatical errors in German or English?

The term "liberal" meant something a good deal different to Hitler than it does to Coulter. And also that such a "test" could invidiously be applied to many by picking stray Hitler bon mots and placing them beside those of another subject, since I'm sure that Hitler uttered, oh say, many nice things about pets. Having said that, there is quite a bit of truth in this little game.

Different words, same sentiments. Fascism always takes a national face, being an extreme, and irrational, form of nationalism. It's most common trait of course is the scapegoat-bogeyman. In her case, it's "liberals."

One of the most hilariously stupid things about American politics (so-called, it's not, really) is that the actual liberals left in DC are so few they can be named without any real problem, and among the citizenry they are a very small minority, not enough to make a difference to anyone or anything, really. Most of today's "liberals" would have found a very comfortable place in the republitwitic party pre-Reagan and many of them even post-Reagan but pre-Gingrich. In Alfred E. Bush's reign, the word's become definitionless. It's just a bogey-word, now. The fewer of them there are, the more reviled. It's hopelessly stupid.
