The Festival returns to Guilford, CT as The Great Connecticut JazzFest again brings top talent from around the globe to the Connecticut Shore. This elite group of professional talent will emphasize Traditional Jazz, from Thursday Night with the Preservation Hall Jazz Band to a weekend featuring our friends the Paris Washboard, plus Chicago Six, Pearl Django, the Midiri Brothers, Igor’s Jazz Cowboys, Plus our great bands from Connecticut and Massachusetts. But it won’t stop at the traditional Festival Finale on Sunday. We have a new event, our Sunday Evening Twilight Party, featuring the returning “Wonder of it all” John Pizzarelli Trio.
Jonathan "Jazz" Russell will sit in with bands on Saturday and Sunday.
Proceeds from the TGCJF support our designated charity - Horns for Kids. This unique program assists schools in providing musical instruments for needy kids.
