Hammond Organ (C model) for sale

I have a real Hammond model C organ for sale in full cabinet. It has a 1/4 jack out so you would run it through a volume pedal. It has no vibrato or chorus so you would want to hook it up to a leslie for the vibrato effect. Theres no percussion, so you would add a trek 2 per unit for percussion..I would have made it a cutdown version which I will do for the buyer for free, but the cabinet is in excellent shape. There is no bass pedal setup. Anyone wanting to learn how to play a real Hammond this is perfect. Real drawbars to learn your settings. I am selling it very resonable, less than 1500 and might be able to deliver it for free if Im gigging in your area. I used an organ just like this before starting to play bass pedals. contact me through this post or email me. Lonnie

What do you mean by "a cut down version"?

hammond C model for sale

By a cutdown, I mean, you cut the organ in half...Up to where the preamp, tone generator etc. begins. Since theres no pedal setup, you dont need the full size cabinet unless you want it for appearance. This makes it easier to haul the organ to gigs, it will go through any doorway, you can put it on a handtruck and wheel it in. This doesn't make the organ much lighter just more portable. You of course have to carry a couple of wooden bar stools to put under the organ for a stand or make your own portable stand. This is the only advantage of not cutting the cabinet, you dont have to have a stand to support it. ive used a few of these. I would put 2 metal retracting handles on the cutdown version so you have something to grag on to when lifting...So anyone buys it I will have it cutdown and add 2 handles for free...you can also call me: 401-241-2140 for any other questions...lonnie
