I'm trying to work out if I can go to this (and The Claudia Quintet the night after) but I can't find a cheap flight to Lisbon.

Does any know if there's a new album on the way? There's so little info about Craig Taborn on the web.

Taborn, Maneri and the Gonzalez gang too. That sounds like it'd be soooo fun!

Not for Me!

I saw Turner this summer with Aldo Romano and a double-bass player. This was boring. Turner didn't impress me at all! I will never pay for him!

I saw Taborn with Potter too, this was better, but not impress me either!

So, i'm not enjoying their collaboration! If some people are happy, that's good!

(I'm also not a big Turner fan--that's why I didn't mention his name....)

I confess to being a big Mark Turner fan. In fact I am about to start a project to compile his discography to potentially one day be published on the jazz discography website. My enthusiasm stated above was largely at the prospect of hearing Turner play with musicians that he is not typically associated - in particular Taborn, whose playing I enjoy a lot as well.
