New Haven Jazz Festival

July 20th - August 20th

For twenty-five years, the City of New Haven has played host to many of the world's finest jazz musicians. This all-free concert series, situated with its main-stage Saturday evening concerts on the City's historic Green, attracts music lovers from Connecticut and beyond.

The Jazz Festival will again expand beyond its usual Saturday evening format to include Jazz in the Parks - Five weeks of Free Thursday night concerts (7-9 PM) rotating to five different New Haven parks. New this year: Sunday jazz movies and jazz in the clubs, jazz cruises and jazz brunch.

This summer's New Haven Green headliners are: Dave Brubeck Quartet - August 5th, Tito Puente Jr. Orchestra opens at 6PM, Kool & the Gang - August 12th
Blue Orchid Orchestra opens at 6PM, Jonny Lang - August 19th, T.S. Monk on Coltrane opens at 6PM.

I am really looking forward to seeing Dave Brubeck come to New Haven. I've always loved going to this festival and I look forward to going for another year as well.
