Jacob Garchik Trio in NYC August 3rd

Hello everyone,

My trio is playing a rare concert in the borough of Manhattan at Cornelia Street Cafe this Thursday. This is your chance to see us without commuting for hours. Come support Low Brass explorers in this fabulous festival.

Jacob Garchik trombone
Jacob Sacks piano
Dan Weiss drums

$8 Cover
Thursday August 3rd
8:30pm-11pm

Cornelia Street Cafe
29 Cornelia Street, just south of west 4th st and 6th ave, NYC

cds will be on sale for $10

You can still get them from www.jacobgarchik.com/abstracts.html or at any of my other gigs.

says Time Out NY:

"Trombonist Jacob Garchik shares tunes from Abstracts (Yestereve), an engrossing new trio session with pianist Jacob Sacks and drummer Dan Weiss. The lack of a bass player lends the session an airy intimacy not so far removed from the spacious drift of Jimmy Giuffre's combo with Paul Bley, a sensation amplified by Weiss's lithe drumming."

Jacob Garchik is a trombone wizard. Always offering exceptional
vision of his voice, always adding vibrating and painting savant notes.

I discovered Garchick when listening to Yoon Su Choi CD release
"4objects" and I was amazed.

"Garchnik’s contribution to this release excels all over the five tracks.
His pas de deux with Yoon’s voice is open-hearted".

Garchick's venue is definitely worth checking out.
