Michael Silva is alive and well and living in Europe (Paris?). He gets around--I found a session he played on with Clarence "Gatemouth" Brown!

Maybe by "he gets around" you meant that he was cremated and his ashes are still being blown throughout Europe.

If you ever find yourself asking the question, "Who is the drummer?," just insert the standard issue answer, "Bernard Purdie."

Rumor has it that Purdie may have played the harmonica solo on Zeppelin's When The Levee Breaks.
