Awful Downbeat web site?

Is it just me or does Downbeat have one of the worst jazz sites on the net? I would expect them to have more educational material. Perhaps more articles from educators on jazz, more information on scales, ear training lessons, transcriptions, etc.

The front page has remained basically the same for months! Downbeat could hire a student intern who could give them a better site than the one that they have. I really expected more from a major publication.

When I first got a home computer, a few years ago, I couldn't navigate my way through Downbeat's site to save my life. Search engines would keep pointing me there, but even finding cached material there gave me trouble. I got so frustrated that I never went back.

I hope that you can help them, Lois. Their site badly needs it. It could and should offer so much more than what it does now.
