JAZZ MUSICIANS - PAID JOB - WOODY ALLEN ADAPTATION (Upper East Side)

Hey everyone we are casting a VERY cool project for Jazz/ Blues musicians
with some acting skills who can move.

We are looking for Jazz/Blues musicians who sing and who have some acting
experience or are willing to learn. It's a VERY WELL paid job that will last
10 weeks, just in time for the Holidays. Rehearsals Oct 23 - Nov 20,
performances Nov 21 - Dec 31 (evenings and some matinees)

MURDER MYSTERY BLUES (WORKING TITLE)

New adaptation - Woody Allen short stories linked together with original
live jazz
Director/adapter/lyricist - Janey Clarke
Composer/MD - Warren Wills

We are looking for serious musicians You must be able to play your
instrument well!

All ethnicity welcomed.

See break down:

1. MALE 1: 25-35 years; downtrodden, rye drinking private eye (ideally sax
player, something in the horn family or a pianist; open to other types of
musicians.)

2. MALE 2: 30-40 years; dying man, famous crime fighter and Rabbi (ideally
double bass player/upright bass player. Open to other types of musicians.)

3. MALE 3: 25-35 years; nervous shallow guy, gangster and evil nemesis
(ideally cellist/pianist. Open to other types of musicians.)

4. FEMALE 1: 25-35 years; Sexy, Smoldering legendary nightclub owner
(ideally violinist who can sing her ass off. Open to other types of
musicians.)

5. FEMALE 2: 25-30 years; glamorous deceptive, Sexy intelligent woman
(ideally clarinet, sax player, something in the horn family. Open to other
types of musicians.)

6. FEMALE 3: 25-35 years; shy secretary who blossoms into siren (ideally
piano player, with strong dancing skills. Open to other types of musicians.)


MUST PLAY AT LEAST ONE INSTRUMENT to high level. Very funny piece so comedy
skills also an asset. Dance skills also desirable. Be prepared to bring an
instrument and a 1940s style jazz song to sing, or something that really
shows off your vocal skills. There will be keyboards at the venue and
accompanist .Very good pay for the full 10 weeks. Details about London
