R.E.M. - And I Feel Fine...

I just bought the latest compilation from REM

And I Feel Fine...: The Best of the I.R.S. Years 1982-1987.

A long time ago, i got the vinyl of Life Rich Pageant. The sound was good. The first time they put it on compact disc, i find it difficult to listen. The sound was not good. In the beginning of the 90's, the made it again on cd. The sound was not better. With this compilation, the remastering is good. If they remaster all the old REM, I'll be there for buying some old stuff like Life Rich, Document and Green.

For the real fan, i think this music and live sets, demos, etc. are not a surprise because all of the music was release before in different edition. But for the occasional listener, the double disc is worth it.

I got a list of disc to buy and this compilation was not the priority. I bought it now, because the price it's cheaper. It's always the same the first week. I know that it'll be more expensive later. So, the first time i listen it, i said to myself, why i bought this? After two more listening, i didnt ask this question, i said WoW! Great music! I didn't regret my buying!
