I know that I don't post here often (I think this is my second post, according to the count). I registered here originally for the Ellery chats.
I'm just letting you know that saxophonist Frank Vicari is in some serious trouble. Phil Barone (sax players among you know who he is, I'm sure), is trying to raise some funds for Mr. Vicari.
If you all need some "credentials" or whatever, I did a brief stint at the University of North Texas as a Composition/Saxophone Performance/Music Ed major. I also lead a big band for a few years. Granted, you can't do a check on any of this, so my "internet cred" is that I'm on the administrative team over at Sax on the Web, screenname is thesonandall.
I know this probably sounds like a scam, especially given my lack of posting over here, so if you moderators/administrators (I don't know how many and of what you have), feel the need to pull this post, by all means.
Just trying to help out a musician before he's dead.
