Most rocking track of the past ten years

Hands down for me: David Murray w/ Fontella Bass, "How I Got Over" from *Speaking In Tongues.*

Shit rocks so hard it makes me a believer every time for the length of the recording.

** I call ... Patti LaBelle's rip-roarin' "Are You Ready for a Miracle?" ("Leap of Faith" soundtrack - okay, 1993, but what the hey) ...

** ... and raise Rain Celebration: (Jesus On The Mainline/Ready For A Miracle/It's A Highway To Heaven) by Angels Of Mercy, same CD.

Robert Randolph and The Family Band "Right Direction."

Rocking, and no doubt about it.

Rock category: Sleater-Kinney's "Let's Call It Love".

Jazz category: Bridge 61's "Shatter (for Sonny Sharrock)". Vandermark has written a few rocking compositions, but none that rock quite so hard as this, IMO.
