Scott Kinsey - best Fusion show in 20 years

The Cd release party at the Baked Potato on October 19th was nothing short of spectacular.

Scott Kinsey is the real deal and his new Cd (available at www.abstractlogix.com) is what Fusion is supposed to sound like.

Many of you know me as a die hard Fusion fan that's seen everyone possible since 1972 and I'm saying that his concert that night was simply jaw-dropping. You'd have to go all the way back to the early 70's (Mahavishnu, Weather Report, Miles, and Return to Forever) to find any live perfomance to compare it to.

I drove 500 miles to see the show (from SF to LA) and it was worth it!!!

With Scott's history in Tribal Tech and Zawinul influence, it's no wonder the Scott Kinsey Group is the best Fusion band since Weather Report broke up.

It's beyond my skill to describe the feel-vibe-groove that I witnessed. If anyone wants to know what Fusion is supposed to sound like - get his new Cd Kinesthetics and relive the excitement we experienced over 30 years ago.

Best,

Rick Calic
