Steve Smith announced in his blog (http://nightafternight.blogs.com/) that this trio will be playing two sets at the Blue Note on May 6 [2007], augmented by....Andy Bey. Andy Bey!??!? The mind reels....

In the same post, the illustrious Mr. Smith lets us in on upcoming concerts (in Europe and England) where Mr. Taylor is finally paired with Anthony Braxton.

Long URLs often show up in shortened form. Your link works fine anyway.

If the whole URL showed up, it wouldn't fit on one line in text of the default size -

This is gonna be so great. How much wil they be charging? I'll try and get some cheap tickets out that way with this much advanced notice.

Sorry to say that the Taylor/Grimes/akLaff gigs at Iridium were in Oct. 2006.

No puedo Gerardo. I can't because I have to save up to tour with Roodrigo Amado, and Luis Lopes in Portugal during that time as its roughly two weeks or less before the tour starts. I gotta check Cecil out soon though. I've been dying to for quite some time.
