I remember reading about a Korean exchange student who was shot on Halloween by a homeowner who thought he was tryin to rob them. It was pretty tragic, as his english just wasn't good enough to be clearly understood, and it resulted in a bad misunderstanding. I would say that qualifies in the "worst Halloween costume" category.
