Fundraiser for the Homeless at Catalina Bar & Grill

JAZZ PIANIST, GEORGE KAHN HOLDS JAZZ FUNDRAISER FOR THE HOMELESS
CATALINA BAR & GRILL
PERFORMANCE SET FOR TUESDAY EVENING, DECEMBER 19th, 2006




Los Angeles. Jazz Pianist, George Kahn, returns to the new CATALINA BAR & GRILL with a holiday performance benefiting PATH Ventures: People Assisting The Homeless -Ventures, Tuesday evening, DECEMBER 19TH, at 8:30 PM.

The George Kahn Quintet will feature Justo Almario on sax, John Fumo on trumpet, Karl Vincent on bass and M.B. Gordy on drums. In addition, Special Guest Vocalists, The Wright Combination, will add their singing talents to this wonderful event. The Wright Combination has performed on stage and in studios with Liza Minelli, Vikki Carr, Patti LaBelle, Henry Mancini, and currently tours with Albert McNeil's JUBILEE SINGERS.

“COMPARED TO WHAT…?”, George's most recent CD release, continues to get airplay on KKJZ and across the country. During the last 12 months George has performed with his group in Boston, MA, Seattle WA, and throughout the Los Angeles and San Francisco Bay areas. This will be George's last performance for 2006.

The concert will be raising money for PATH Ventures, a community development corporation created by PATH in 2005, which focuses on the development of affordable housing for individuals and families in Los Angeles.

The Catalina Bar and Grill is located at 6725 Sunset Blvd. (just east of Highland Avenue - parking on N. McCadden Place). Dinner reservations suggested. (323) 466-2210.

There is a $15.00 cover plus Minimum. Students with ID, $10.00. Please bring a donation to give to PATH VENTURES when you arrive. Donations include NEW household goods, clothing, blankets, toys, etc. All profits will go directly to PATH VENTURES (www.pathventures.org) to help LA's Homeless people.
