Size of posted pics. help.

We can delete this when I can get some help..
I see pics. posted in here 850 plus pixels by 1320 pixels .
When I try to put in a pic.a sign comes on saying I can only put pics.in no more than 400 x 400 pixels.I have to shrink the pics. down to under 400 x 400 pixels. to put in here...Does anyone know why my pics. have to be so small and everyone else can put bigger ones in..
Is there some setting that I'm not fam. with..I think I know..I'm a Toronto Maple Leaf fan... seriously ..anyone can help me. Thanks...Don

Don,
Right click on the photo. Then go to "Properties." Copy the photo's URL and save that, not the photo itself.
Back at JC, click on the "Insert Image" icon. Paste the URL in. Post!

Don, what Chris is saying is that the large photos and other images you're seeing on Jazz Corner did not originate from their computer. When you post a picture from your personal computer you'll see an outline around it with the words Attached Image on top.

If you right click your mouse on a photo on another website you can choose Copy Image Location. Then, by selecting this icon on Jazz Corner and pasting that address in, the photo will appear on Jazz Corner.

Hope this helps.

How do I get my own digital images down to a manageable size for posting.

Most of my pics are 2+ megs.

I used photo shop to reduce the size to satisfy the paramaters, but then they come out very teeny.

Others have posted their own pics in pretty large formats .

How do they do it?
