Clint Eastwood's Son (Kyle)
Howdy partners! Have any of you guys heard of Kyle Eastwood's music? I had no idea that Clint Eastwood had a son who is also a musician until the other day when my friend from Fontana told me about him. Apparently he has a brand new jazz album that released about a month ago. I must say his music is pretty good! Like father like son I guess. If you'd like to hear some of his music too, I found some of his tracks on his myspace @ myspace.com/kyleeastwood.

His dad used to come into the Lighthouse and sit up front slightly to the right front of the stage when well known musicians were playing. He came in quite a bit, he and two other fellows, so Clint has always been into jazz, well before he became a known actor or music buff. I didn't know who he was, and didn't for quite a few years afterwards, that is until his love of music began to be talked about in print and in tv interviews. After "Play Misty for Me" I believe. That's when I figured out who he must have been. We always wondered, as he was a semi, semi regular, and had that jazz fan demeanor down pat.
I haven't heard any of his sons music or seen anything about him, until your post.

yes, i've been aware of kyle and his musical talents for many years. when he was living in los angeles, he studied with bunny brunel, the guitarist. i have been following his career and have seen enormous growth. his group at last year's monterey jazz festival was smokin'!! he moved from l.a. to n.y. many years ago and i believe he's now living in paris or somewhere else in europe. he and his group play around l.a. sometimes. they're really good!

Yes, I have heard of him. In fact, KSJS has played several of his CDs in the past. His last CD was in the heavy rotation last year.

Kyle Eastwood cds
Kyle just released a new cd - "now," which has two vocal tracks, comes in around 45 minutes of total play time. It's geared more towards a radio friendly crossover crowd and not my cup of tea.
His earlier ones, "from there to here" and "paris blue" are both very nice projects. He likes to mix up different styles on these so I would recommend you sample them if possible to make sure you like them. They were both added to my collection.
