Looking for advice on the new Schlippenbach and Evan Parker Trio cds

I've come across a couple new releases that intrigue me. Schlippenbach has released two separate volumes of solo music on Intakt called Twelve Tone Tales. And the Evan Parker/Barry Guy/Paul Lytton trio released one on Maya called Zafiro (a recent live performance in Barcelona). Has anyone heard any of these? What do you think? I'm a big fan of all the artists involved, so would you recommend any or all of these? Thanks in advance.

Do you mean Winterreise? I bought it last week from Evan Parker at a Schlippenbach 3 concert. It's as good as Elf Bagatellen or Swinging the BIM: a very fine record.

The Schlippenbach Trio, "Winterreise" sounds excellent to me. As does the Evan Parker Trio on Maya. Neither covers any extremely different ground than usual, but are solid, excellent performances.

I have Volume One of the Schippenbach solo discs. I enjoy it but find it rather somber. There's a pretty nice reading of a Bernd Alois Zimmerman piece.

I hadn't heard of Winterreise, the new Schlippenbach trio disc. Thanks for letting me know. I've put in an order for it. But I'm still undecided about whether or not to get Twelve Tone Tales. Anybody else out there have thoughts about either volume of it?
