MARTHA TILTON - R.I.P.

MARTHA TILTON - RIP

Singer Martha Tilton passed away on Friday, December 8, peacefully at home.

Her work with the Benny Goodman band from 1937 - 1939 will always be remembered.

More to follow........

The last survivor of Benny Goodman's 1938 Carnegie Hall concert. A good singer too.

"By yon bonnie banks. . ."

Liltin' and Miss Nibs Miss Georgia Gibbs both shuffled off about the same time.
