Frank Gratkowski / Jerome Bryerton / Damon Smith - The Voice Imitator

"The Voice Imitator"
Frank Gratkowski clarinet bass clarinet, alto
Jerome Bryerton percussion
Damon Smith double bass

This CD I got from Frank about two month ago, and after one hearing I thought 'difficult' and laid it beside. Now I'm hearing it again and whow, it seems to me rich of colours. So friends of 'free' here are the trackdata:
three character attacks
1. photographers 8:24
2. the prince 12:01
3. profound and shallow 24:44
rec. 10.10.02 at Cultural Center San Francisco
two instances of libel/one memory lapse
4. increased (a) 10:27
5. increased (b) 6:52
6. impossible 9:58
[ a + b played as one composition with track separation placed for convenience only ]
rec. 10.09.02 at 21 Grand in Oakland
it's on balance point acoustics 006
so try it out, I recommend this.

I second herman's opinion on this. A great disc - Gratkowski at his best.
