NBA 2002 - 2003

Mone can talk about the amateurs. Here it's all about the pros:

Don't get me started, Uli.

Because we all know who the REAL answer is!

Some answer... Pistons hold Iverson to 5 last night and totally crush Sixers by 28.

Pistons now lead East by 2 and an half.

Chauncy, Rip, and Big Ben baby...

...Ah, I see Uli made a timely edit on his post to remove the Iverson reference. heh heh

My real reason for the edit was because I have not figured out the image thingy yet, Al . The answer in this case is not Iverson.

The NBA is just wild at the moment. I don't even know what to make of the East. Philly is the hot team of the moment, but can't you just see them go into a funk and suddenly look like first round losers? Indiana, New Jersey, Boston, Detroit, New Orleans, they've all been up-and-down. My prediction is that nobody is going to *win* the East. Somebody will survive it.

I'm sticking with the Spurs in the West (and to win it all, of course) as long as everyone's healthy.

Glad to see the Kings shut Shaq up.

And no, Iverson shouldn't be on the Olympic Team. His main strength is his ability to create shots, not make 'em, and on a team of NBA stars, the impact of that is diluted.

(Not that Ray Allen and Bibby would be my first choices, either...)

Cool. I just think some of Mone and the rest of you do better on beer threads. But that's just me, of course.

Okay then, when has some of me posted on a beer thread? ;-)

How about the Kings rolling up 42 in a quarter on the Blazers?

Reminder: Lakers-Spurs today, 1:00 EST.

I missed the game, but I see that the C's were roundly slapped by the team destiny of the new millenium. Well done, team of destiny of the new millenium!

I'm not sure the Celtics have won a game during the current calendar year. They seem completely shot.

Sorry to see the Lakers beat the team of the one true Griffin tonight.

I like the Spurs if the Admiral is available for at least 20 minutes.

Will be ready to take bets against the Spurs, once the playoff schedules are known. Presently I don't think they'd beat the Lakers, Dallas or Sacramento in a playoff game.

No, Uli? Even though they swept the Lakers this season?

If you're takin' bets, I'll be offerin' 'em!

Of course, I should have sed playoff series. The fact that they have swept the Lakers during reular season don't mean much to me, mone. Especially not with the Lakers.

I see the Pacers clobbered the Bulls by over 50 tonight. What the hell was up with that?

Shiiiiit, what do you bozos know about the NBA? I'm the guru around here, especially since Abbey left......the little crybaby that he is. By the way, if the Cavs get LeBron James I'm goign to send a telegram to his apartment....saying "LeBron James to the CAVS!!!!!!" "HOW YOU LIKE THEM APPLES!!!!"

I'll take the Lakers for the NBA championship. There ain't no way the Kings can stop Shaq, and Tim Duncan is the worst all star in the fourth quarter in the nba. I would love to see his stats, in the playoffs, in the last 10 minutes of the fourth quarter. He's a choker, can't make quick decisions. I'll take Kobe and Shaq, its all a matter of which one decides to take over each game.....as much as I hate it.

The East is a joke.....too bad the NBA Finals suck every year...

Good to hear from you, Bo.

You could have saved your Bozo comments for Mone, Reynolds & Co. Me I am with you on the Lakers being the team to beat.

I was in Sac this afternoon for a party and only watched the final 5 minutes between the kings and Pistons.

I'm fucking pissed off; no ball movement, piss poor defense, mindless full-court pass with 2 minutes remaining, silly turnovers, and nobody moving towards the open shooter.

And they were up by 20 at one point?

I need a beer. No. Gimme a fucking 12 pack.

It's a deal.

Five bucks is all I can afford. But I have the confidence of a billionaire.

I'll take the Lakers Mone. A brand new cd of choice. But what happens if neither the Spurs of Lakers win....is it a wash?

I still haven't collected my two cds from Gordon, from the MLB bets I won last year. I guess the statue of limitations is up on that bet. Oh well....
