On this date some of the world's finest musicians will perform in celebration of the resiliency and spirit of the African people brought to this country and their
descendants . Though this may be the shortest month of the year, we plan to make it one that will be remembered for a long time to come. This program will feature selections of Black music that serves as a window into this country's rich and complex history. Jazz statesman, John Handy, will be featured. This concert will also bring together for the first time three wonderful vocalists - Faye Carol, Ledisi and Kenny Washington - all headliners in their own right.
