I guess a small, tight one might approach an F, where as a long wide "pipe" might go down to Eb or lower. But seriously, I was just blowing smoke with that statement.

I've heard that crocodiles can also be moved to tears by a sorrowful ballad in Bb, but I suspect that they're faking it.

I’m uncertain; they were visibly shaken, and cried what appeared to be genuine tears upon hearing of the death of Crocodile Hunter, Steve Irwin. But I don’t trust ’em myself.

I heard that story this morning and had to recheck my tune list. I love Bb. It is such a resonent key. I bet elephants respond to it too.
