The question is too big. It's like, "What's your favorite painting in the Louvre?" It's like, "Who is your favorite Russian author?" It's like, "What's the greatest boy band in history? It's the Backstreet Boys, right? Isn't it? Don't look at me like that." You can't answer a question like that. There is a surfeit of good answers.

I'll second that.

Although "It's on, brother!" is one of my favorites.

The way he accepted people.

Brother Goodz, Brother Noj....and on and on.

I didn't agree with Brother Dolan politically, but he had a heart of gold.

Call me spoiled.

I've heard from reliable sources that Scott joined Steve Reynolds in Iraq on their personally funded mission to find WMD.

Scott was last heard saying: "As God is my witness I will find those weapons if it's the last thing I do"

We're behind you Scotty boy. God speed to you and Mr. Reynolds.

I would say that we're supposed to be here in order to

--celebrate jazz and share our knowledge and appreciation of jazz,

--have fun in any ways that don't turn off
--the owner of JC
--current or potential JC viewers, members, clients, and sponsors
(and might even turn them on).

Speakeasy is a fantastic freebie feature of a business. Recognizing that is what I'd call getting real.

I'd say my favorite Dolan quotes all involved "sweetness" or "stomping ass."

Anybody notice that every post Weisen makes references some food stuff. Perhaps an intervention is required.

He and that group didn't exactly change their tune.

They improvised like Wynton on a Monk tune.

Either way, it leads to embarassment.....
