Third annual Jazz Festival to be in Utica
UTICA — The third annual Utica Jazz Festival will be held Saturday in the Utica High School cafeteria. The festival will feature not only jazz bands, but a Caribbean ensemble as well. The North Fork Music Boosters will be serving sandwiches and other various food items to have before and during the event.
The festival will begin at 5 p.m. in the high school cafeteria. Food will be available for purchase throughout the evening. There is a cost for the event for adults, and for students and senior citizens. The first jazz band will perform at 6:30 p.m.
Bands attending will be the Wilson Middle School Jazz Band, Mount Vernon High School Jazz Band, Central Crossing High School Jazz Band, River View Caribbean Ensemble and the Utica High School Jazz Band.
